Bio
Venetia Scott's illustrious career began at the prestigious British Vogue, where she quickly made her mark by crafting iconic imagery through collaborations with renowned photographers such as Juergen Teller, David Sims, Mario Sorrenti, Corinne Day, and Helmut Newton. Her unique vision and bold casting choices have established her as a leading figure in fashion photography and styling. As a Fashion Director at several influential publications, including British Vogue, Italian Vogue, AnOther, Self Service, The Face, Arena, i-D, and Nova, Venetia has consistently pushed the boundaries of visual storytelling, solidifying her reputation as an innovative image maker. In 1997, Venetia ventured into the world of design, consulting for Marc Jacobs, where she ascended to the role of Creative Director by 2001. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in launching the Marc by Marc Jacobs line and its accompanying accessories, further showcasing her multifaceted talent. Transitioning into photography in 2005, Venetia has since lent her keen eye to esteemed publications such as W, AnOther, Dazed & Confused, Self Service, Purple, Interview, Vogue China, and POP. In 2017, she was appointed Fashion Director of British Vogue under the editorial leadership of Edward Enninful, a role that has allowed her to blend her expertise in styling and photography. As of 2019, Venetia continues to contribute to the magazine while further exploring her dynamic multidisciplinary practice, leaving an indelible mark on the fashion landscape.
