Michele McQuillan has been a true innovator throughout her twenty five-year career as a hair stylist and concept designer. Her unique talent is manifest in the imagination and tailored approach that she brings to all her work—from runway to editorial and advertising. McQuillan began her creative career in London, researching the cultural history of hair styling and developing a unique talent for reshaping the history of style and self-expression for our contemporary context. She has an extensive career in the top hair stylist teams in runways shows for designers such as Alexander McQueen, Versace, Louis Vuitton, and YSL, and has designed runway concepts in Australia for Ellery, Calvin Klein, and Bianca Spender. Her dramatic editorial style is seen in Doingbird, Harper’s Bazaar UK, i-D, Lula, Manuscript, Museum, Oyster, Russh, V, Elle Australia, GQ, Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, L’Officiel, Miss Vogue, and Vogue Australia.
