Kyye was raised both here in Sydney and Yokohama, Japan. Growing up in two very different cultures set him on his path exploring and defining his identity within the world of hair styling. His formal training was undertaken in Sydney and from 2007 he developed technically whilst also forming his own individual, creative style. After undertaking a Bachelor of Fine Arts, he combined his love of art with his passion for hair to create playful, yet aesthetic hair working with top photographers, stylists and creatives. His technical skill with hair and his art based knowledge has seen him working with leading fashion advertisers and magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Grazia, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Instyle. With creative collaborations with other titles that include: Oyster, Paper, Vice, Black Magazine, Badlands, side-note, i-D, Tangent, 10 Magazine, His advertising credits include campaigns for : We Are Kindred, MECCA, Nike, Carl Kapp, MYER, Moontide, Dearletterman, David Jones, Allisagentlespring with photographers Steven Chee, Simon Upton, Duncan Killick, Eddie New, Byron Spencer, Bowen Arico, Sakisa Wilson, Daniel Nadel, Daphne Nguyen, Juli Balla, Corrie Bond, Michael Brunt, Mason Stevenson, Adam Flipp, Daniel Goode, Max Papendieck, Jason Henley, Sarah Ellen.
