Jane developed her insatiable love of food, cooking and styling at an early age. As far back as she can remember, Jane was cooking and styling international cuisines with her mum and grandma in their Sydney kitchen. Jane’s professional career began as a formally trained chef, enabling her to work with some of Sydney’s great visionaries in the world of fine food. Jane prepared dining experiences in globally renowned restaurants such as Watermark & Wockpool, closely working with luminaries Neil Perry and Kylie Kwong where her love of Asian cuisine was developed and constantly refined. Since 1999 Jane has been food styling professionally on a freelance basis with all of Sydney’s foremost photographers and Australia’s leading food and lifestyle monthly magazine publications. Jane’s styled creations have been viewed millions of times, by literally millions of individual food consumers. Titles where Jane’s creations can be seen include the Westfield Food Magazine, Womans Day, Bauer Custom Media Magazines, Coles Magazine, Weight Watchers, Super food ideas, recipes+, Slimming magazine. Jane’s innovation and creativity in Food Styling has also led her to be much sought after in the Corporate World, working for a number of retail & agency clients including: Westinghouse, Masterfoods, Muffin Break, Jamaica Blue, Dreamy Donuts, Subway, Gourmet Garden, Dolmio, Kantong, Sunbeam, Sanitarium & Grow Harvest Cook. Jane has food styled for a large array of consumer books for publishers that include Hardie Grant, ACP, Murdoch books, Readers Digest, and various E-Books. Jane is also a proficient food editor and custom develops unique recipes based on her diverse cooking and styling experience; Jane was the food editor and Food stylist of Coles magazine for over 10 years.
