Iris Humm is a talented photographer based in Barcelona, whose artistic journey began in the vibrant city of Milan, where she was born and raised. At the age of fifteen, Iris discovered her passion for photography, finding joy in capturing the world around her. “The most exhilarating moments of my life happened behind the lens; it felt instinctive and profoundly rewarding,” she reflects. This deep-rooted intuition informs her distinctive approach, allowing her to cultivate an impressive portfolio that resonates with both brands and diverse assignments. Iris characterizes her work as an exploration of the emotional essence of each moment, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the environments she captures. Among her most significant personal projects is a poignant series created in collaboration with her father and sister at their family home in Switzerland. Each year, Iris returns to this serene lakeside retreat, documenting the evolving dynamics of familial relationships over time. "As we grow, we change; our connections with our parents and siblings continuously shift. These images encapsulate the essence of our shared experiences, revealing everything I need to know about us,” she shares.
