Gorka Postigo is a visionary fashion photographer and documentarian renowned for his captivating exploration of romanticism and whimsy. With an artistic eye that intertwines fantasy, beauty, and art history, his portraits often embrace a playful absurdity, resulting in images that are both cinematic and graphically striking. Gorka's unique style has garnered attention from prestigious brands, leading him to photograph campaigns for iconic names such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Miu Miu, Carolina Herrera, Paco Rabanne, and Nina Ricci. His work has graced the pages of esteemed publications including Vogue Italia, Vogue Spain, Icon Magazine, and Hercules Universal, showcasing his ability to blend high fashion with artistic storytelling. In 2018, Gorka launched “Presente Futuro,” a poignant project focused on transgender youth in Spain, which debuted at La Fresh Gallery in Madrid. The exhibition's success paved the way for the publication of his monograph, also titled “Presente Futuro,” in 2019. This significant book, edited by This Side Up and supported by Jean Paul Gaultier, serves as a vital documentation of LGBTQ youth across Spain, highlighting Gorka's commitment to social issues through his art.
