Dario Catellani, born in the picturesque city of Parma, Italy, embarked on an artistic journey that diverged from his initial path in civil engineering. Embracing his passion for photography, he honed his skills as a photo assistant before making the bold decision to relocate to New York at the age of 26, where he currently resides and thrives. Catellani's striking photography has graced the pages of prestigious publications, including Vogue Italia, British Vogue, Dazed, Re-Edition, M le Monde, and W Magazine. His unique vision has also attracted a diverse range of commercial clients, such as Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Rag & Bone, Uniqlo, MSGM, and Sportmax, showcasing his versatility and creative prowess in both editorial and advertising realms. In 2014, his innovative work was prominently featured in the acclaimed publication ‘The Art of Fashion Photography’ by Patrick Remy, where he not only contributed remarkable images but also secured a coveted position on the cover. The following year, Catellani celebrated a significant milestone with his first solo exhibition at Wave Photogallery in Brescia, Italy, curated by Marco Scotti, which highlighted his captivating Red Eye Collection. Currently based in New York, Dario Catellani continues to push the boundaries of fashion photography, blending artistic expression with a deep understanding of visual storytelling.
