Amber Pinkerton (b. 1997) is a dynamic photographer and filmmaker based in London, whose roots in Kingston, Jamaica, deeply inform her artistic vision. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant tapestry of Caribbean culture, Amber's work serves as a poignant social commentary, exploring socio-political contexts through her lens. Her striking imagery captures the essence of life in Jamaica, characterized by a rich and evocative palette that celebrates its beauty and complexity. Amber's distinctive style has garnered international acclaim, leading to collaborations with prestigious publications such as Document Journal, Dazed, Nataal Media, and i-D. She has been recognized as one of the '15 Creative Women for Our Time' by The New York Times Style Magazine and was featured on the British Fashion Council's 2020 New Wave: Creatives List.
