Vanessa Granda, Photographer, New York

Description

This still life composition by photographer Vanessa Granda features a vertically oriented loaf of crusty artisanal bread standing upright on a table. The scored loaf acts as an improvised vase, holding a dense arrangement of small yellow and white wildflowers emerging from the top. The bread and flowers rest on a classic red and white checkered fabric surface against a neutral, softly lit background. The warm lighting highlights the textured crust of the bread and the delicate details of the botanical elements.
