Description

This still life composition features an arrangement of fresh fruit and ceramics positioned on a dark surface against a weathered, cracked concrete wall. A footed wooden bowl holds ripe bananas and round citrus fruit, accompanied by a small bowl of green limes and another holding yellow lemons. A ceramic plate of dark chocolate cookies sits alongside a tall, slender metallic vase containing dried grasses. The scene is illuminated by soft, directional light casting a distinct shadow pattern across the lower left foreground.
