Elisa Watson, Photographer, Sydney

Description

This still life photograph by Elisa Watson features a balanced sculptural arrangement constructed from various pieces of bread. A vertically aligned loaf stands upon layered bread slices, topped with a round roll and a small square piece of bread, while a long breadstick extends horizontally through the structure. A single small pebble rests on the surface nearby, alongside an angular geometric element in the foreground corner. The entire composition is captured against a seamless, matte pink architectural backdrop with soft directional lighting creating subtle shadows. The warm monochromatic color palette emphasizes the tactile textures and baked surfaces of the artisanal bread.
