Bertram Knight, Photographer, New York

Description

Captured by photographer Bertram Knight, this portrait features a smiling young Black man spinning a basketball on his fingertip outdoors. He is dressed in a white tank top and red shorts with white detailing, captured from a low angle. The sun sets on the horizon behind him, casting a warm golden glow across the sky and the water below. The composition utilizes backlighting to create a striking silhouette effect against the vibrant evening light. The tranquil coastal setting enhances the warm, atmospheric mood of the scene.
