Description

A striking silhouette captures a person with curly hair holding a basketball high overhead against an overcast sky. The backlit composition emphasizes the sharp contours of the subject's outstretched arms and hands framing the ball. The lighting creates a dramatic contrast, rendering the subject entirely in dark shadow against the pale, muted atmosphere of the background. Photographed by Alessandro Simonetti, this vertical portrait highlights form and motion through minimalist staging.
