ECCE HUMANUS is a fashion editorial series for Whatevr Magazine, centering on a diverse cast of subjects through a lens of nuanced personal style. The project explores themes of identity and aesthetic contrast, layering textures from structured tailoring and knitwear to macramé and ornate accessories. Photographer Omar Macchiavelli leads the visual execution, utilizing a mix of soft diffused light and sharp, graphic hard light to define the mood. Working alongside fashion editor and stylist Francesco Casarotto, the series balances minimalist interiors with saturated, nostalgic environments. The visual language is punctuated by precise makeup work from Mattia Andreoli, incorporating elements of analogue film and editorial portraiture.
