Cagemates is a fashion editorial series produced for Whatevr Magazine that explores the intersection of movement and contemporary tailoring. The project utilizes a mix of monochrome and desaturated palettes to emphasize the structural qualities of the garments and the dynamic physical presence of the subjects. Through a series of studio-based portraits, the work leans into a chiaroscuro aesthetic, using directional lighting to define sculptural poses and highlight intricate fabric textures. Creative direction was led by Jessica Santini with casting by Reinard Grevin. The series features models Izzac Thomas and Marial Akech, who are captured across a sequence of minimalist set-ups and neutral backdrops to maintain a focus on form and silhouette.
