For their From Stockholm to SoHo project, Vogue Scandinavia presents an editorial series that explores the connection between European aesthetics and the urban character of New York. The collection features a series of character-driven portraits that lean into a monochrome palette and candid sensibilities to ground the subject matter. Photographer Tim Grupp employs a distinct analogue film aesthetic across the series, utilizing natural light to highlight textures ranging from tactile leather jackets to metallic silver accents. The compositions alternate between tight, vertical portraits and broader, grain-heavy horizontal frames, capturing a contemplative mood within various indoor and outdoor settings.
