Playground is a fashion editorial feature for Vogue Portugal that navigates the intersection of stark urban environments and intimate interior settings. Photographed by Yulia Plakhotnikova with styling by Jose Carayol, the project follows model Victoria Volt through a series of contrasting locations, ranging from concrete city streets and vintage cars to patterned hotel room interiors. The series balances a raw, documentary-style approach with highly structured fashion silhouettes. Across the diverse settings, Plakhotnikova employs a mix of clean natural light and high-contrast direct flash, grounding the avant-garde wardrobe choices in a tangible, everyday context.
