Vogue Portugal’s 'A whole new world' editorial series explores the interplay between high-fashion silhouettes and historic, architectural environments. Shot by photographer Andrew Jim, the project places model Pooja Mor across a variety of settings, ranging from bustling, flower-filled outdoor markets to the quiet, sun-drenched interiors of ancient pavilions and stone workshops. The production team, led by Editor-in-Chief Sofia Lucas, utilizes natural light to emphasize the raw textures of weathered masonry, distressed plaster, and carved sandstone. Fashion editor and stylist MJ Molina creates a deliberate visual contrast by pairing intricate, embroidered garments and sculptural gowns with these grounded, rustic backdrops. Hair stylist Gabriel Georgiou complements the aesthetic with clean, polished finishes that anchor the narrative. Technically, the series leans into an earthy color palette and monochrome grading, often captured on analogue film to enhance the depth of the historical surroundings. The result is a grounded, atmospheric exploration of form and texture.
