Reliving Opulence is a print editorial feature for Vogue Philippines that examines the intersection of heritage craftsmanship and archival design. Centered on the work of designer Pitoy Moreno, the project documents traditional embroidery processes through a documentary lens while framing haute couture pieces against monumental architectural backdrops. Photographed and directed by Karl King Aguña with fashion styling by Carlos Mangubat, the series leans into a classic editorial aesthetic. The execution combines monochromatic, analogue-style film photography with crisp typography and minimalist layout design to underscore the intricate textures of the gowns and the rhythmic motion of the subjects.
