Description

Corporate Underground, a fashion editorial for Vogue Philippines, subverts the tropes of the workplace through a cinematic and surreal lens. Captured by photographer Mattia Holm, the series recontextualises sterile office environments—complete with filing cabinets, boardroom tables, and fluorescent strip lighting—as a stage for structured, high-fashion silhouettes. The imagery leans into a moody, low-key aesthetic, utilising cool tones and stark chiaroscuro to contrast traditional business attire with avant-garde styling by Nata Bocha. Through careful art direction, the project balances the mundane with the dramatic, featuring models Houjing Cui, Jackson Jarrell, and Max Gottschalk in scenes marked by deliberate tension. Production design by Milena Gorum reinforces this sterile interior narrative, while beauty looks by hair stylist Eddy Scudo and makeup artist Dmitry Kukushkin provide a polished, rigorous finish to the conceptual editorial.
