Vogue Philippines presents On Solid Ground, a fashion editorial project that explores the relationship between high-end silhouettes and organic environments. Captured by photographer Levon Baird and styled by Fashion Editor Carlos Mangubat, the series features compositions set against rugged rock formations, dense forest landscapes, and natural foliage. Utilizing soft natural light and macro photography techniques, the editorial highlights intricate textures in both the featured garments and the subjects. The series incorporates clean, minimalist art direction, balancing sculptural accessories and fluid tailoring against the raw, unrefined textures of the outdoors. The project spans various layouts including double-page spreads and portrait-focused spreads that integrate magazine typography with a refined aesthetic.
