Vogue Philippines: Eden

Eden is a fashion editorial series produced for Vogue Philippines, exploring a cinematic and surrealist vision of nature. Under the creative direction of Alexandre Dornellas, the project employs a moody and atmospheric aesthetic, blending high-fashion silhouettes with sculptural botanical elements. The series makes extensive use of desaturated tones and high-contrast lighting to underscore the textures of the landscape and the subjects' avant-garde attire. Photographer Anthony Arquier captures model Xiaorui Li across a variety of outdoor environments, ranging from reflective lakeside settings to dense, wooded pavilions. Through the integration of dramatic props and layered styling, the editorial channels a gritty, analogue feel, leaning into chiaroscuro techniques to heighten the emotional resonance of each composition. The project was produced by Kaio Berguer, with casting by Melissa Scott and contributions from hair stylist Sundia Wen and makeup artist Sharbel Hasbany, all overseen by editor-in-chief Bea Valdes.
