Vogue China presents Organised Chaos, a high-fashion editorial project that explores the intersection of minimalist tailoring and experimental visual layering. Photographer Justin Ridler captures talent Mao Xiaoxing across a series of studio-based compositions, often juxtaposing structured evening wear and sharp, architectural silhouettes against surrealist elements. Creative director Justin Woo leans into a clean, precise aesthetic, utilizing dynamic digital interventions such as floating particle effects, liquid droplets, and 3D wireframe sculptures. The work employs a range of techniques including multiple exposure and VFX to introduce a sense of suspended motion within the frame. By balancing high-fashion elegance with these textured, avant-garde installations, the series offers a rhythmic study of form, shadow, and materiality.
