Vogue China explores the symbiotic relationship between high fashion and creative technology in the editorial project, The Intersection of Fashion and Brilliance. Photographed by Olivia Frølich, the series frames models Clara Denison and Qiuyue Li against minimalist, high-key studio backdrops, punctuating sharp tailoring and sculptural silhouettes with vintage and contemporary imaging equipment. The imagery leans into a clean editorial aesthetic, utilizing soft light and tactile textures to highlight ornate jewelry and intricate garments. Beauty direction—led by hair stylist Kasper Andersen, makeup artist Kamila Vay, and manicurist Lilly Lizé—remains refined and graphic throughout. The compositions incorporate retro cameras and candid studio production elements to bridge the gap between portraiture and the process of image-making.
