Vogue China presents a fashion editorial series centered on model Mariama Diallo, captured through a lens of high-contrast editorial photography. The project showcases a range of textural aesthetics, from soft, natural light beauty portraits to high-key monochrome studio work. The imagery emphasises sharp tailoring and voluminous, tactile garments against both clean seamless backdrops and weathered, industrial concrete surfaces. Photographer and hair stylist Diego Larez collaborates with makeup artist Dillon Peña to explore a diverse visual narrative. The series employs techniques including chiaroscuro, natural light diffusion, and a clean, analogue-inspired aesthetic to highlight skin textures and intricate garment detailing across the collection.
