Vogue China presents Gong Girl, a fashion editorial project that explores a blend of contemporary textures and structural design. Captured by photographer Ziqian Wang, the series moves between open, verdant landscapes and raw, industrial studio settings. Fashion editor Alvin Yu’s styling centers on high-contrast compositions, pairing intricate lace and floral patterns with tactile elements like faux fur and leather. The editorial utilizes natural light and analogue film techniques to emphasize the interplay between the subjects and their environments, ranging from moody concrete backdrops to expansive meadows. Editorial oversight was provided by editor-in-chief Rocco Liu, with model Chun Jin appearing throughout the series.
