Versace
Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Jul 2024
Versace’s Fall 2024 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in the intersection of domestic familiarity and high-octane luxury. Under the creative vision of Donatella Versace, with dual creative direction and photography by the legendary duo Mert & Marcus, the campaign leans into a sharp, editorial sensibility that elevates the brand’s storied aesthetic. Featuring a powerhouse cast including Loli Bahia, Vittoria Ceretti, Fernando Lindez, Lee Minseok, and Hedi Ben Tekaya, the visuals masterfully juxtapose rigid, structured tailoring against softer, lived-in interior environments. The execution relies heavily on the juxtaposition of crisp studio strobe lighting and intentional chiaroscuro to emphasize the tactile quality of mohair knits, glossy leather, and intricate metallic hardware. With the precision of stylist Jacob K, the clothing is punctuated by polished, slicked-back hair by Akki Shirakawa and refined makeup by Sam Visser, resulting in a cohesive lifestyle narrative that feels both cinematic and rooted in commercial reality. By pairing vibrant red accents with quintessential black leather, the imagery captures the signature Versace tension between opulent elegance and modern minimalism. This live-action technique and editorial minimalism define the collection's presence, ensuring that each frame highlights the house’s craftsmanship while maintaining a sense of poised, direct-to-camera storytelling that captures the intensity of the current fashion season with undeniable sophistication.
