The Julius Spring/Summer 2025 lookbook presents an exploration of avant-garde menswear, defined by its commitment to deconstructed silhouettes and heavy layering. Photographed by Mitsuo Okamoto, the series captures the collection's focus on tactile material experimentation, from distressed, hole-riddled knits and crinkled metallic fabrics to structured leather harnesses and utility-driven hardware. The project leans into a mood-heavy, editorial aesthetic through the use of high-contrast chiaroscuro lighting and raw, atmospheric styling. Set design by Haruka Kogure utilizes minimal, earth-toned and monochromatic backdrops to isolate the complex folds and sculptural draping of the garments. The ensemble work, worn by models Baboya Peter, Cesar Salmon, and Damian Zalewski, emphasizes a gothic-inspired technicality, often obscuring the face with textured masks, veils, or elaborate headpieces to maintain a singular, experimental focus.
