Matteau
Summer 2026

Apr 2026
The Matteau Summer 2026 campaign is a masterclass in editorial minimalism, stripping away the superfluous to celebrate the quiet confidence of the modern woman. Under the guidance of art director Karolina Vavra, the collection finds its visual language through the lens of photographer Chris Colls, who utilizes natural light and high-contrast monochromatic palettes to evoke an intimate, cinematic mood. Featuring model Isabeli Fontana, the campaign leans into a sophisticated, resort-wear aesthetic, where the interplay of light and shadow on modernist architectural lines mirrors the clean, structural integrity of the garments. Stylist Ilona Hamer elevates the look with purposeful, understated styling, complemented by the sharp, wet-look hair and clean beauty execution by makeup artist Filomena Natoli. The series, which integrates analogue film techniques and high-key lighting, traverses domestic and outdoor settings—from tiled bathroom alcoves to vintage convertibles—to build a cohesive narrative of relaxed luxury. By capturing the subject in repose against geometric stone and wood textures, the campaign channels a sense of timeless elegance. This project stands as a testament to the power of restraint, where each portrait remains focused on the silhouette and fabric texture, resulting in a series that feels both contemporary and classic in its high-end fashion appeal.
