Travessera, the latest project from Modern Road, is a fashion editorial campaign that blends sculptural apparel with the raw, rhythmic textures of urban architecture. Photographed by Mariona + Jaime, the series documents a model navigating concrete staircases, louvered facades, and leafy residential passages. The aesthetic leans into a candid, analogue film quality, utilizing natural light to cast deep shadows across the subject's structured utility jackets and layered, draped separates. Beyond the fashion narrative, the project integrates documentary-style vignettes of local storefronts and neighbourhood storefronts, including traditional cafes and bars. With fashion direction and styling by Alex Montoya, the work balances precise, earth-toned tailoring with the authentic, weathered grit of city life. Rita Skomrova provided hair styling, while Claudine Blythman led makeup artistry, completing the editorial vision with soft, understated features that highlight the project's organic rhythm.
