THE REMAKE

Sep 2026
Crash Magazine presents THE REMAKE, a fashion editorial series that leans into a raw, tactile aesthetic. Captured by photographer Michal Chelbin, the project utilizes natural light to explore organic environments, grounding its subjects against rugged stone cliff faces and weathered rock formations. The imagery is defined by a muted, earthy color palette that highlights the subtle textures of knitwear, foliage, and scattered paper elements. Fashion styling by Chiara Ficola centers on neutral tones, featuring olive green suiting and textured layering that blends into the surrounding landscape. The series employs an analogue film technique to achieve a grainy, desaturated finish, reinforcing the quiet and contemplative mood of the compositions. Through surreal arrangements of open books and carefully placed organic props, the project establishes an artistic narrative.
