Crash Magazine Matrixés by Matthias Vriens 2026

About

Crash Magazine presents 'Matrixés,' a fashion editorial feature lensed by photographer Matthias Vriens-McGrath. The project leans into a raw aesthetic, juxtaposing structured luxury garments against distressed, graffitied indoor environments to create a sharp contrast in texture. Fashion editor and stylist Lu Philippe Guilmette anchors the visual identity of the spread, pairing high-contrast leather and metallic finishes with sheer detailing. The imagery utilizes a mix of direct flash and natural light to emphasize the gritty, underground tone of the series. The production features hair styling by Hiro Furukawa and makeup artistry by Marco Roscino, with casting directed by Ricky Michiels and model Vicki Baidachna. Editor-in-Chief Armelle Leturcq leads the editorial vision for the feature.
