Nel & Ale is an editorial series commissioned by The Metalhead Magazine, showcasing a study of movement, physical form, and high-contrast composition. The work leans into a raw, tactile aesthetic, alternating between moody chiaroscuro portraits and minimalist studio setups. Captured by photographers Leonardo Bornati and Alessandro Pompili, the project utilizes monochromatic film techniques to emphasize texture—from shredded garment hems and acid-wash denim to the stark geometry of the studio environment. The sequence ranges from contemplative, observational portraits to structured fashion studies, creating a cohesive visual narrative focused on silhouette and gesture.
