Criollo is a fashion editorial feature for The Metalhead Magazine that explores the intersection of surrealist art and textile design. Captured by photographers Alejandro Arrias and David Bravo, the series leans into low-key lighting and tactile, layered compositions to highlight an avant-garde wardrobe. With fashion styling by Edgar Lopez, the project centres on model Corinne Murray. The imagery incorporates painterly backdrops, botanical motifs, and sculptural elements—such as elongated braided hairpieces and intricate crochet work—to build a moody, earthy aesthetic. The series utilizes analogue film techniques to emphasize the raw textures of the apparel, set against a backdrop of collage and still-life iconography.
