For the January 2025 issue of Something About Rocks, photographers Rachel Louise Brown and Rory Payne capture a series of portrait covers that center on intricate craftsmanship and personal expression. Led by creative director Tim Holloway, the editorial photography leans into mood-driven compositions and high-contrast styling. The series features Gwylym Lee alongside various subjects, each styled by Gareth Scourfield with a focus on fine jewellery and accessories. The production integrates varied environments, moving between warm, moody interior frames and clean, natural-light studio setups to showcase the detail of the pieces. Supporting the visual execution, the work includes set design by Trish Stephenson and makeup artistry by Emma White Turle, with production managed by Malcolm Mafara.
