JOLLY BOLD is a striking fashion editorial series produced for Sicky Magazine, captured by photographer Joey Leo. The project operates as an intimate, sculptural study of the human form, utilizing low-key chiaroscuro lighting to isolate muscular contours and skin textures against minimalist studio backgrounds. Across the series, Joey Leo employs high-contrast monochrome grading to emphasize graphic lines and shadowplay. The work leans into a raw, tactile aesthetic, moving between wide-angle dynamic poses and extreme macro captures that treat anatomy as an abstract landscape.
