Sicky Magazine: Urban Elegance

Urban Elegance is a fashion editorial series for Sicky Magazine that explores the intersection of high-concept styling and urban architecture. Photographed by Kourosh Sotoodeh, the series features model Madeleine German navigating city environments—from subway platforms and tiled plazas to neoclassical limestone facades—to create a dialogue between structured garment silhouettes and the hard surfaces of the metropolitan landscape. The aesthetic leans into a sophisticated, monochromatic palette, highlighted by the intricate work of fashion editor and stylist Danny Santiago. The wardrobe ranges from deep crimson leather ensembles to ornate, embellished teal gowns and structured tailored coats. Hair stylist Gianluca Mandelli provides a consistent visual signature throughout the project, often framing the subject with short, textured, or wet-look curls that underscore the refined, editorial tone of the collection. The series makes extensive use of natural light, alternating between high-contrast hard sunlight and soft, diffused ambient conditions to accentuate the textures of the fabrics and the geometric lines of the city.
