Fluid Noir is a fashion editorial series produced for Sicky Magazine that leans into a moody, high-contrast aesthetic. Photographed by Aleksander Salski, the project centres on model Ola Kursa, whose evolving look—spanning sharp bob cuts in varied colors and structured avant-garde silhouettes—anchors the visual narrative. The series makes extensive use of low-key / chiaroscuro lighting to isolate forms, playing with the rich, glossy textures of leather, satin, and feathered outerwear. Fashion styling by Anna Dobrzanska brings a sculptural quality to the work, utilizing monochromatic palettes and architectural garments that interact with minimalist studio sets. The editorial employs techniques such as analogue / film textures and cinematic motion blur to ground the imagery, alternating between raw portraits and dynamic, movement-heavy compositions that emphasize shape and light.
