For their Opposites Attract editorial, Seventeen Magazine leans into a playful, tactile aesthetic featuring actress Emma Myers. The project utilizes a blend of vintage-inspired styling and graphic patterns, set against coastal and architectural backdrops that emphasise texture and natural scale. Photographed by Hill & Aubrey, the series pairs chunky knits and structured outerwear with whimsical props and retro-leaning accessories. Fashion director Brandon Tan balances these disparate elements with a clean, cohesive visual approach, supported by hair by Hiroki Kojima, makeup by Sara Hill, and immersive set design by Thomas Conant. The production makes extensive use of natural light and analogue film techniques to achieve a warm, organic finish.
