About

Bold and Beautiful is a high-fashion jewellery editorial series for SCMP Style Magazine. The project highlights a collection of intricate high jewellery pieces, ranging from sculptural cocktail rings to statement diamond necklaces, through a lens of refined minimalism. Photographed by Plusia Roms, the imagery leverages soft light and clean, neutral studio backgrounds to allow the craftsmanship and gemstone detailing of the accessories to remain the primary focus. Styling by Joanne M. Kennedy paired with set design by Chloé Guerbois creates a cohesive aesthetic that balances modern silhouettes with timeless elegance. On-camera talent Annie Tice anchors the series, with hair by Olivier de Vriendt and makeup by Cristina Vila contributing to the polished, editorial feel. The work makes frequent use of typography and minimalist composition to emphasize the tactile quality of the jewellery.
