Sandy Liang Resort 27

Jun 2026
For the Sandy Liang Resort 27 collection, the brand embraces its signature blend of girlish whimsy and technical utility, distilled here into a clean, high-key studio lookbook that keeps the focus firmly on the garment. Through a series of stark, editorial portraits, the collection explores the tension between soft textures—such as plush faux-fur hooded jackets and delicate floral prints—and the sharp, utilitarian edge of color-blocked windbreakers. Captured by photographer Hailey Heaton, the imagery employs precise studio strobe lighting to emphasize the intricate hardware and layered silhouettes that define the brand's aesthetic. Under the guidance of fashion editor and stylist Dean Dicriscio, the styling leans into the eclectic, pairing oversized puffers with streamlined mini dresses and ballet flats adorned with rosettes, creating a narrative of layered complexity. The execution, supported by the clean hair styling of Dylan Chavles and the intentional makeup artistry of Tayler Treadwell, highlights the playful, accessory-driven details—like the star-shaped bags and ribbon-accented footwear—that have become central to the Sandy Liang vocabulary. By utilizing a minimalist white backdrop, the project effectively allows the collection's textural diversity and structural contrasts to take center stage, presenting a polished, cohesive vision that feels both nostalgic and distinctly modern in its execution.
