RIER x SALOMON 2026 Campaign

Feb 2026
The RIER x SALOMON 2026 campaign represents a masterclass in editorial minimalism, bridging the gap between high-performance athletic heritage and contemporary luxury fashion. Captured through the lens of photographer Alessandro Furchino Capria, the series leans into an aesthetic of quiet intensity, utilizing the raw, weathered textures of urban architecture and industrial asphalt as a backdrop for the collaboration. The imagery features a deliberate, neutral color palette that emphasizes the crisp, technical design of the white footwear. Under the fashion editorial guidance of stylist Jérôme André, the campaign strips away excess, allowing the clean lines of the sneakers—complete with their intricate mesh panels and rugged soles—to command center stage against the grit of city plazas and subway entrances. With thoughtful casting by William Lhoest, the models inhabit these everyday transit spaces with a relaxed, almost sculptural composure. The project utilizes a live-action technique that favors soft, diffuse natural light, casting subtle shadows that highlight the interplay between smooth materials and coarse masonry. By blending the organic forms of classical stone fountains with the sharp, utilitarian nature of the Salomon silhouettes, the campaign achieves a balanced, modern narrative. Featuring contributions from hair stylist Alexander Soltermann and makeup artist Chiara Varesi, the visual story maintains a cohesive, refined polish that reinforces the partnership between two distinct creative forces.
