Pull Letter Magazine
Animal Morphing

Jun 2026
For their latest fashion editorial, Pull Letter Magazine presents Animal Morphing, a striking exploration of the boundary between human identity and the primal textures of the natural world. Under the visionary creative direction of Eugenio Fasulo and captured through the lens of photographer Francesco Saverio Costanzo, this project leans into surrealism to challenge the conventional aesthetics of luxury fashion. By juxtaposing sleek, high-end garments with organic motifs—ranging from intricate leopard-print textiles and voluminous faux-fur panels to weathered driftwood and taxidermy elements—the editorial reads as a deliberate act of metamorphosis. The styling, curated by Giulia Parenti and Jamie-Maree Shipton, masterfully integrates natural light and cinematic composition to highlight the raw tension between synthetic luxury and wild, earthy textures. Models including Anyiel Majok, Litza Veloz, and Xie Chaoyu inhabit these layered, tactile environments with a stoic, avant-garde intensity, creating a series of portraits that are as clinical as they are instinctual. Whether set against the stark minimalism of a studio backdrop or the untamed terrain of an outdoor lot, the project consistently foregrounds the tactile qualities of its material palette. This evocative collection captures a sophisticated, experimental dialogue, proving that when high fashion meets the untamed, the result is an immersive visual narrative that feels both timeless and deeply transformative.
