Jun 2026
Parked is a documentary short film that captures a moment of cultural production during the Los Angeles lockdown. The project features contemporary dancers moving across the tarmac at the Santa Monica Airport, utilizing the location as an alternative to shuttered theater spaces. The film leans into observational documentary techniques and cinematic framing to document the rehearsals and performances against the backdrop of aircraft and urban architecture. Production was led by GREATERGOOD, incorporating drone footage, natural light, and an analogue aesthetic to record the choreography and interviews with the creative team.
