Officine Générale
Fall 2023 Ad Campaign

Sep 2023
For its Fall 2023 ad campaign, luxury fashion house Officine Générale embraces a masterclass in restrained elegance, captured through the discerning lens of photographer Laurence Ellis. This project, which leans into the brand's core DNA of Parisian chic, feels less like a traditional commercial push and more like a curated study of texture and form. With creative direction from Pierre Mahéo and image direction from Nina Mahéo, the imagery anchors itself in a sophisticated palette of charcoal, navy, and cream, utilizing soft natural light and moody low-key chiaroscuro to highlight the heavy wool tailoring and fluid silhouettes of the collection. The campaign showcases a series of portraits featuring models Maggie Maurer and Niels Trispel, who exude a poised, calm confidence within both sun-drenched city streets and minimalist indoor environments. Stylist Giovanni Dario Laudicina enhances the visual narrative by emphasizing clean lines and understated accessories, while hair by Ed Moelands and makeup by Janeen Witherspoon ensure the aesthetic remains polished and timeless. The result is an editorial-heavy campaign that feels remarkably grounded, using cinematic lighting and high-contrast shadows to transform everyday urban architecture into a backdrop for quiet luxury. By pairing sharp, tailored pieces with a relaxed, monochromatic approach, Officine Générale successfully solidifies its place as a definitive voice in contemporary luxury fashion, proving that simplicity remains the most powerful tool in modern fashion communication.
