Numéro Switzerland presents Theatrical Impulse, a fashion editorial capturing an avant-garde aesthetic through a series of conceptual portraits. Model Olga Zapivokhina features throughout the project, styled in a collection that juxtaposes sleek contemporary black silhouettes with surreal, handcrafted Renaissance-inspired elements such as accordion-folded ruffs and textured headpieces. The imagery employs vertical framing to highlight the interplay between the subject and stylized, tactile environments. These settings incorporate distressed painted backdrops, fibrous panels, and monochromatic pedestals that lean into an artistic and graphic visual language. The project utilises soft, directional lighting and vintage-inspired color grading to emphasise the costume design and the varied painterly textures present across the frame.
