Anatomy of a Line is a fashion editorial series for Numéro Switzerland that explores the intersection of avant-garde design and human form. Photographed by Marta Skovro, the project centers on model Emma Gu, using a minimalist studio approach to highlight the relationship between structured apparel and sculptural makeup artistry. The series leans into editorial techniques like macro photography and chiaroscuro lighting to isolate specific textures, ranging from glossy pigments and metallic contours to chaotic thread work. With fashion styling by Amy Bialek, hair styling by Harley Beman, and makeup by Lindsay Kastuk, the collection maintains a clean, monochromatic focus that prioritizes sharp lines and negative space.
