For Numéro France’s PERFORMANCE editorial, photographer Rowan Papier captures model Nyakong Chan in a series of striking frames that bridge the gap between avant-garde couture and athletic utility. The narrative focuses on sculptural silhouettes and dynamic motion, set against a curated mix of distressed industrial spaces, classical stone colonnades, and urban environments. Edem Dossou’s styling serves as the project's foundation, seamlessly layering structured blazers, puffer jackets, and flowing capes with performance-inspired elements like arm guards and athletic hosiery. Makeup artist Aurelia Liansberg contributes a refined aesthetic, utilizing glowing, high-gloss finishes that catch the soft, natural daylight inherent to the series. With casting by Paul Louisor, the project delivers a polished visual exploration of form and texture.
