Numéro China features artist and composer Pan Daijing in a sprawling editorial series that leans into moody, cinematic abstraction. Captured by photographer Nadine Fraczkowski with fashion styling by Tim Lim, the project explores the interplay between dark, textural garments and rigid architectural forms. Across a series of indoor and outdoor environments, the imagery makes extensive use of low-key chiaroscuro lighting and grainy textures to isolate the subject. By balancing minimalist, desaturated palettes with intense, theatrical highlights, the editorial creates a stark visual rhythm throughout the feature.
