Norway
Brand Identity

Oct 2020
Norway's brand identity overhaul, executed by design studio Neue with photography by Catharina Caprino, presents a refined visual language for the nation's official documentation. The project spans the redesign of passports and national identification cards, focusing on a minimalist aesthetic that integrates intricate security features with cohesive, modern graphic design. The series leans into a clean, color-blocked composition, utilizing a palette of deep navy, vibrant blue, and warm earth tones. Technical elements such as emboss & deboss finishes, UV-reactive mountain landscapes, and precise typography are presented through sharp, studio-lit still life photography. By highlighting the intersection of national identity and security technology, the project emphasizes a tactile, graphic approach to government documentation.
